Forex trading has been a full-time activity for me for the past years. I’ve developed a consistent trading style and consider myself a conservative trader. Conservative but very profitable.
Typically I scalp, never keeping positions open for more than a few minutes. I get in early, make a few pips then get out of Dodge.
When I first started trading I did run into most of the usual problems common to a very great number of traders – namely, broker manipulation. The first broker I traded with tried the requote method and when that wasn’t enough, my account was cancelled for some fairly obscure trading violation.
It didn’t take me long to realise that playing the game by somebody else’s rules wasn’t what I wanted to be doing, so I switched to an STP forex broker and have never looked back.
